The Coleman Eventemp 3 burner camp stove has all of the features you would expect on a camping stove from Coleman. This Model 526 unfired military heating unit came with the shipping box and is date stamped A (we believe for Jan-Mar) 1943. There are no military markings on the stove or box and we don’t know the origin or purpose of the metal tags on the operating parts. Each 34 5/8″ long unit is easily removed for fueling and pressurizing by loosening the thumb screws at the left end.

The steel can fits over the burner when not in use; it was borrowed from a ’43 stove for this image. But they didn’t have any dark greens available, so I decided to just try the Rustoleum. That’s fine for those who tolerate it and or are just stupid. If this coleman propane stove model isn’t giving you enough size you can upgrade to the duel fuel powerhouse which offers more overall surface area for cooking and provides higher BTU’s per burner. Although you can use unleaded gasoline it will be cleaner and have less odor if you use white gas or Coleman fuel. The flip side to the great construction and cooking abilities of both stoves is that they aren’t cheap. For reference, you could buy 4 Coleman Classic stoves for the same amount of money. However, the ability to fit larger pans make these a great option for families.

As the successor to the tried-and-true Coleman Camp Stove, the Coleman Triton Stove Series 2 Burner has some serious reputation to uphold.
