IGLOO Soft-Side Coolers Coolers

Every year the number of impressive-looking igloo soft cooler coolers seems to grow, and we’ve been expanding our selection of test-worthy models for six years. Our in-depth insulation testing was developed in conjunction with Steven Tata, whose background in engineering helped us to design realistic and intensive testing of these coolers. Testing consists of a quantitative ice melt test and extensive field use. Field use takes place in various environments, from hot desert hikes to road trips from muggy Minnesota to sunny California, for a well-rounded set of conditions. All this adds up to a comprehensive review, which will thoroughly equip you to make a well-suited soft cooler purchase.

Chillin’ out is easy with genuine Igloo soft coolers and lunch coolers! Hauling cold drinks and food is easier because soft coolers weigh less, and they’re ready to be custom printed with your logo for memorable gifts. There is a wide variety of sizes and all these promotional coolers are easy to clean and stow when you’re done. For soft coolers, we recommend anything in the 20- to 24-can range. That’s enough to hold plenty of ice, drinks, and food for a family of three.

There’s ample igloo trailmate to carry multiple meals for several people. The insulated walls have an interior aluminum coat that helps trap cold air, and the ice retention is adequate for single- and 2-day adventures. The shoulder strap is comfortable to slide over the shoulder, doesn’t slip around, and holds the cooler close to your side to prevent bounce.

This Coleman option is straightforward and therein lies the beauty. There’s netting for extra cramming, a nigloo soft cooler seal for proper storage, and the whole thing breaks down simply. Bonus points for the four cup holders on the lid that can be used like a table when collapsed. This policy is only valid within 30 days after your purchase date.

durable

In addition to all of its handy features, it opens easily and seals without any pesky latches. The one downside was the location of its drain plus, which made it a trickier to empty and clean than other coolers. Instead of being positioned on the very bottom of the cooler, it’s located just above it so it was a little hard to fully empty. It’s also a little more expensive than the regular Igloo Journey Trailmate. In the Good Housekeeping Institute Kitchen Appliances and Culinary Innovation Lab, we’ve been testing coolers and insulated devices like water bottles and lunch boxes for decades.
