Overall, I really enjoyed testing out the hart drill set impact driver. Hart tools also feature fade free power, meaning that they won’t become any less powerful when the battery gets low. All these features on top of the fact that these tools are available at the biggest retail chain in the country make these a wonderful option for anyone attempting a DIY project.
The procedure is bring the hart power tools in, they will take pictures, do an inspection, and fill out a report. The report will be sent off to TTI and I’ll have to wait for the outcome. First tired the chat method and was informed I must call the toll free number. Called the toll free number and was told I need to take the tool to an authorized dealer. So I asked if I could use snail mail to warranty the tool as mentioned in the warranty contract. The CSR wouldn’t give me the option for a mail-in exchange and said I must contact one of the authorized repair centers.
I two power tools electric saws, and there are great would recomend highly. Hand tools and Hart have been around for a few years, but just not to this magnitude. Not only did Hart extend the line of their hand tools for this launch, but they’ve also included some really nice looking toolboxes and work carts. In addition to looking good, they also have some sought-after features like soft-close drawers and ball-bearing runners. The Hart line of tools is a wonderful addition to any casual consumer’s DIY kit.
As I stated before, if you’re a casual consumer looking to do some minor home repairs or DIY projects, then Hart is perfect for you. Tools are super accessible and the battery features make them extremely user friendly. As for branding and marketing, I really like what Hart is doing. First of all, I really like the black, white, and blue color scheme they use, it’s actually one of my favorite color combinations.
The newly expanded 20 volt system offers a longer run time and optimized performance. Time and time again I find better deals on the ryobi equivalents. Walmart hart drill set is $10 more than the Home Depot ryobi set. Now if it comes to the wife picking up a tool for the hubby then yea. She’ll be in Walmart more often so you pay for the convinence.
The DIY or shade-tree mechanic can stick with the brand and get their 1/2″ impact wrench, drill, and impact driver as well. They even have impact-rated sockets for the impact wrench. A majority of HART tools run off of a universal 20-volt battery platform, so you can power your string trimmer with the same battery you use to run your drill. HART may be a new line of power tools but the company behind HART is anything but new. This is the same company that makes Milwaukee Tools for the professional, they make RYOBI tools, RIDGID tools, and more. TTI is a large company in this industry and they have a long history.
HART produces an impressive variety of tools and other project supplies, from basic power tools such as drills and saws to lawn mowers, chainsaws, and storage containers. Dewalt is definitely the more premium brand when it comes to power tools. These are the real deal heavy duty construction worker tools. They’re quite a bit more expensive than the offerings from Hart and Northern Tool, but these are built to last for decades on a construction site or doing regular home repairs. Hart markets their products less as power tools and more like lifestyle products, which makes a lot of sense.
TTI has now started to produce overseas but it still has the “born in USA” sticker on all its products. Similarly, if we look at the details, TTI hasn’t acquired the rights for all their products as some of the hand tools are still made by Hart and they produce them in America. This is because Ryobi, Craftsman, Hart, AEG, Black and Decker, or almost all the power tool brands manufacture their products at TTI.
