Although the tent is an Instant Tent, campers are advised not to rush, when putting it up. Poles can jam and plastic parts can break, if the tent is handled roughly. Families evidently get longer life out of the Instant Tent than organizations do. This also indicates that campers should protect the tent from rough handling.
The Ayamaya Pop-Up can sleep up to six people, though it’s best for smaller groups of two or four campers. With a removable gear loft at the top of the tent, two storage pockets on the side, and four pouches mounted on the wall, there are plenty of places to stash belongings. When looking for a super durable tent, the UPF rating is important. The sun’s rays are not only harmful to our skin but to tent materials as well.
A nearby family spent over 40 minutes pitching their standard tent, which they had used many times prior. I expected this tent to be easy to set up, but I had no idea it’d be quite this easy. They’re an excellent option for camping families, and we tested eight of the most popular ones on the market to find the best. The Coleman 6 person instant tent cabin is a savior sent to anyone who hates pitching a tent. Weight and packed size for the Instant Tent 6 are 24.9lb and 48”x9”x9”, so it’s certainly a hefty tent that will take up a decent amount of space in your trunk. However, it’s very easy to unpack and pack away with respect to its travel bag, which we consider much more valuable.
There’s also no room divider, but this was less of a priority given the lack of entryways. Our other main issue was the lack of a vestibule, which means that in the case of a sudden coleman sundomestorm, there will be no dry area to store your wet clothes before entering the tent. And although we did like the two deployable vents on the roof, you’ll want to make sure to keep those closed if the weather is at all questionable since they are liable to let rain into the tent. I agree with the last reviewer…tent looks good, setup is really nice, but the plastic corner brackets break way too easy, metal ones and this tent would be awesome.
But they will not perform great in the case of the and wind combined. There are only 2 small mesh pockets on the walls, so this is really far from impressive. The windows and the door are with zippers and flaps, and here you have waterproof panels of course. But this will not protect you completely in the case of a storm and wind.
If someone could make them out of metal it would be a great tent. Unlike a lot of competitor models, this tent comes with its own an expandable carrying and storage bag. Which eliminates wrestling your tent to get it back into its case.
