An argument can be made as to whether this is good or bad. The included carrying ozark trail canopy does not have wheels to aid in transportation, but at only 29 lbs. We don’t find that to be a noteworthy drawback as the nylon handles and shoulder strap work just fine in carrying the tent. The legs are locked into place with old school metal push button locks, something you won’t see on many modern pop up tents now-a-days.

Instant set up has become a huge selling point for many models out there. A lot of gazebos on the market, soft tops and hard tops, can take an hour or more to pitch which can be a big downfall when you want something quick and easy. We think this is the biggest standout in relation to how different this model is to others on the market. Most versions at this price will stick to the really simple designs, with a complete lack of add-ons. While this model isn’t anything ground-breaking by any means, it’s still not oversimplified, and the vents are a prime example of that.
Two people make it easier, but I can do it in ten minutes, alone. The one complaint we have is that there is no vents in the fabric at the peak to release the build up of hot air under the canopy.
