I am an avid coleman cabin tenter and have loved Coleman products (I’ve used an older version 12 man Costco Coleman tent for 9+ yrs without any problems) but this tent is awful-do not buy. There are 4 poles and this is fiberglass, 3 are used for the inner tent and one for the awning. You have the usual attachment system, and this means pin and ring at the tent’s base, and above you have clips and sleeves. You have plenty of steel stakes included, they are shown in the picture below. At Coleman’s site they claim the tent can withstand winds up to 35 mph.
The pre-attached, foldable poles break down easily and ensure you are never scrambling to figure out which pole goes where. Most models come with telescoping tent pole or fiberglass poles for easy one-person instant setup, which can be useful for backpacking or car camping. In some cases, these telescoping poles arrive attached to the tent’s structure to further cut down on installation time. Tent setup required multiple people following a confusing instruction manual. But today’s tents are far easier, with poles attached to keep you from having to deal with fitting multiple parts together. Some models can be in place in as little as 60 seconds, while others take a little longer.
coleman battery lantern longevity is an important feature so you’re not constantly having to purchase a new one every few years. Coleman uses very good quality materials in their products, and Coleman 4 person instant tent is no exception. While this tent is designed with an integrated rain fly, it needs a traditional fly to keep you dry when storms hit.
With a peak height of 76 inches and a floor area of 130 square feet, the Evergreen gives you a lot of space. Most campers can stand inside the tent without ducking their heads. You should also be aware that tents with integrated rain flies can often be problematic.
There are 2 vestibules within for storing all the necessities, a welded waterproof floor, coated polyester sides, and reflective guy lines. It’s quick and easy to set up, very spacious, and tall enough for a 6-foot man to stand up in it. The tent is very comfortable and the ventilation is just perfect when you’re camping during those hot summer days.
In the summary of this 6-person Coleman Cabin Camping Tent with Screen Room, you have seen all its features and you realize this is a really nicely designed tent. It provides a lot of useful protected space, it packs good but it is a bit heavy. The price may look a bit steep but it is worth the investment. The tent is in my list of best Coleman 6 person family camping tents.
The coleman cabin tent is made from 150D polyester and you can see the seam seals all the way around. The Prairie Breeze is great, as are the Tenaya and Jenny Lake tents – the straight sides provide more space and the feel of a regular bedroom. The high ceiling and big windows make it feel so. To summarize this Coleman 4 Person Cabin Camping Tent with Screen Room review, what you have here is a really nicely designed and pleasant tent with plenty of space for up to 4 people. These are my opinions and are not representative of the companies that create these products. I never recommend poor quality products, or create false reviews to make sales.
