The coleman cabin tent has an InstaStart ignition, which we really enjoyed. It typically started right up during our testing period where we used it nearly every single night. Just turn the fuel knob and press the red button and it lights instantly.
It is very high quality and fits the 237 nice and snug. Will also fit a 530 stove if you want to install a PH cup on it. This is the cardboard tube that goes inside of the 200A and 220 size generators, and many others. Typically used to stop a fuel leak from the valve stem on older appliances. If your filler cap is a standard size and has a screw in the center then these gaskets will work. Sorry, there are no products available online or in your local store.
Once it turns into a coleman lantern ash, it will be fragile so if it gets touched or bumped, it will break. This will let a jet of hot gas shoot out of the hole and could burn the glass globe. Reinstall the glass globe and reassemble the lantern.

I’ve had it over 40 years, and it’s still going strong. It can get messy trying to refill it with gas, but other than that, I don’t mind using this one. It has a nostalgic feel to it, and brings me back to the days when I’d go ice fishing late at night with my Dad. In fact, this is his lantern, that I acquired. The cost of these tanks vary depending on where you buy them. They normally run $4-5 at most big box stores.
This L427 lantern, in John Stendahl’s collection, is date stamped May, 1925, and has the pump top with the rounded handle. Other L427 pump handles have a nearly flat top or a top with rounded lobes. The embossed ventilators date it to 1922 or later. Screw-based incandescent lamp bulb, with off-white incandescent color light. Liquid propane gas can accumulate inside the closed lid and cabinets, causing an explosion when the user relights the grill, posing fire and burn hazards to the user. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled lanterns and contact The Coleman Company, Inc. for a replacement lantern.
