He was always very kind, and I can’t say enough amazing things about him. I would come back and do it again if I could afford it just to have him as my driver again Pride was my favorite stay, but Lake Elementaita was great too. I just wish we could’ve stayed there another day also.
Overall, another great experience in Africa and Gate 1 trip. I also like that he is mongoose excursion English as am I and we have the similar culture and views in common. We always felt safe, despite the crime rate in the country evidenced by the security protections on most/ all buildings ! I would be very happy to travel with John again in Africa .
I also did the Zanzibar extension which was a great opportunity to relax by the beach and I learned so much during the stone town city tour and spice tour. I will remember this trip for the rest of my life, and I hope I will be able to return to Tanzania in the future. Gate 1 always provides great tours, and this one will stand out amongst the best of the best. The itinerary, tour director, coach drivers, local guides and rangers, and group were fantastic. I loved that you provided a welcome and a farewell dinner.
