Ozark Trail Tents on Walmart com 12-Person Tent Cabins, Yurts, & More

I am preparing for a camping trip of 10 days and nights down in Florida where it rains a lot and the wind sometimes is pretty strong so I am wondering if the fly will stay put. There is a large space between it and the top of the tent that might be a trap for strong wind so the fly gets ripped off. I think I will go shopping this week for another tent that I feel better about. Otherwise I like the tent but do not trust it to hold up in severe conditions. Ease of setup (how easy it is to pitch and take down a tent) is pretty much always a high mark for Ozark Trail tents. These tents are built for first-time and/or fairweather campers, so Ozark Trail puts a lot of effort into making them easy to use.

To keep all of your essentials organized, you can store items in the included gear organizer. When needed, you can connect electrical devices to the cord access for easy use. This is our Ozark Trails Tent that we used for years as a family.

This reduces the amount of light inside and also lowers the interior temperature. And it also has a total of six windows that provide excellent ventilation on warm evenings. And while it does have enough guy lines to handle mildly windy conditions, we don’t recommend taking the Ozark on exposed ridgelines in high winds.

In short, this is a comfortable choice for summer camping. However, the roomy and airy interiors don’t make it the best choice for chilly winters. It gets hard to trap heat in the well-ventilated interiors. Overall, if you don’t like tents that take a long time to set up, this one deserves a closer look. There are many pockets here and their design is slightly different in the two versions.

This further helps to prevent water from making its way into the tent. Nearly all Ozark Trail tents include a rainfly, and these can usually be removed when not wanted. Many of the tents also feature sealed seams for more protection. For a more luxurious camping experience, each tent incorporates various organizational options. This includes a gear loft, hanging organizers as well as electrical cord access.

It is not an instant tent, although if you want that, look below to see it’s brother (6 person instant cabin tent). This is an 18-person tent, featuring ozark trail canopy three rooms and measures in total 21 feet by 17 feet by 86 inches. It can fit four queen-sized airbeds and has a center height of 86 inches.

Light wind and rain should be fine, but you’ll want to take some steps to prepare for both (more on that below). It’s a cool tent all around, but our favorite feature has to be the 360-degree views delivered ozark tent courtesy of this yurt’s giant mesh windows. There are three of these large floor-level windows along the walls of the tent, plus the giant mesh doorway that can be left open in good weather.
