Cam is a good rider and he’ll do fine on whatever he rides. Thats like buying a Haro or GT because they make bmx, but every little tool in a tracksuit has one. In the past, and knowing what a stand up guy he is and how passionate about the sport that he is, I know that what ever designs that they finally decide on will be top level. Remember that he had a lot to do with I drive and free drive designs, which both worked real well. I don’t know Cam but he seems like a good guy.
The Schwinn Men’s GTX 3 is a lightweight hybrid designed for city commute. It’s a 28” bike with an aluminum dual sport frame and a front suspension fork that can tackle a bump or two with ease. I’ve never heard of Hyper and I’m guessing they’re not available in the UK. But if selling cheaper bikes allows them to move into top end design and development and make the bikes they WANT to be making we should all be supporting them, and for supporting the sport and making new rigs. It seems that Hyper bikes are just Corsair rebranded.
