Hard to find, possibly worth the search if you truly love the shade you’ve sought out. Others though, insanely drying, smears, transfers, fades quickly. Imo – not a product that’s worth the effort of searching for the gems. After application I noticed this lipstick was more of a gloss than matte.

It may look like the Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor which was released three years ago, but the formula is completely different. While that one has a melted lipstick texture and a decidedly shiny finish, the Lip Mousse feels like a fluffy mousse and has zero shine once dry. While these are supposed to feel moisturizing, I think the extent to which they’re comfortable differs between shades. Most of them feel like a light balm— which is great— but a couple feel more dry than the rest.
I love the Super Lustrous line, this one it’s a pretty color. Obviously is sheer and shine because of the type of lipstick, so keep that in mind. It’s a great color, but I hated the finish and wear. It was too slippery and greasy, and the color migrated to the outside of my lips. Within a couple hours I had a brownish red ring on the outside of my lips and no color anywhere else. Wearing So LitSo Lit is a shade that is very much ME.
The day Revlon Super Lustrous comes out with a more blue based red , will be the day I stop using this one and use that one instead. And they’re unscented too, which is FANTASTIC. I love scented products, but I’d rather have no scent in a lipstick than a nasty one, which is sometimes an issue at the drugstore. Revlon has never had a scent on their Super Lustrous lipsticks , and I’m glad they’re continuing that trend. Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink is a big favorite in the drugstore liquid lippie category, and earned the first runner-up spot during Project Vanity’s 2019 Beauty Awards!
