This chair’s big canopy provides ample sun protection at a campsite or sporting event, and it doubles as a backpack-strap-equipped carrying case. If you’re unsure which camping chair to buy, you can’t go wrong with the classic Coleman Cooler Quad Chair. This time-tested classic is reasonably priced, roomy, and dependable enough to last for years.
This chair’s sturdy frame and higher seat height made that precarious dance just a little bit easier. It’s heavier than its competitors and not as easy to fold, but it has a carrying strap attached to the frame (something its competitors didn’t have). This chair’s weight capacity is 250 pounds—less than that of the ALPS Mountaineering Rendezvous low chair.
This is popular and provides an insulating layer as well as a comfort layer between you and the ground. Air mattresses are popular, and can be very comfortable – as long as the mattress stays inflated. No matter how much I spent on an air mattress, it never seemed to stay inflated through the night. It can hold a lot ozark trail canopy of supplies, and it’s easy to carry and set up. The King Kong chair has two cupholders and intuitively placed storage pouches under each armrest; unlike the Coleman chair, though, this one doesn’t have a cooler pouch. With its spacious seat width, this chair also offers more room than any other model we tested.
We also don’t have suggestions for couch-style or loveseat chairs (we’d like to look at those someday, though). The Ozark Trail Camp Chair follows a similar model to most other standard camping chairs and is similar in size and standard features. The construction of the Comfort Chair is very solid and robust and this is reflected in the weight of the chair.

Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area will host a series of presentations from 10 a.m. Sept. 21 about the history of the Peter Van Winkle sawmill and community that once thrived on property that is now the park. The event is along the one-half mile Historic Van Winkle Trail.
