Leave home without it, you are better off with a blanket. It leaks.3rd time out (no rain or wind) broke the rear locker rod and 1 main pole on the 2nd day of a 3 day trip . It seems as if they just shattered.Very disappointed. I purchased this tent to replace one that I bought in April for my cub scout. The first one worked two times and I thought my boys must have damaged the tent — broken poles.
Won’t endorse this tent nor will i buy one like it to replace it. I’m going to take it back and look somewhere else. I explained for the same price I could buy another tent for my cub scout at that price and there reply was (yes you could) and she said that there was nothing they could do. So I called Walmart talked to them and they offered to replace it. I called Ozark and explained what I thought my boys did. They said that they have replacement poles and the cost would be $34 plus shipping.
Too bad I was out in a campground in South Dakota with others around to assist me with lodging the remainder of MY 10 days camping. Shame a new tent and I had to sleep in someone’s trailer 9 out of the 10 of them… Slight wind snapped a pole in middle of the night. For the price, I think this tent would be hard to beat. I bought it for my family of five (three small boys) and it has plenty of room.
With nearly 60 square feet of floor space plus two large vestibules, the Tungsten 4 is roomier than our top-pick tent for couples. It also costs more, though, and is less forgiving of a careless set-up. I’ll be totally honest, I was not expecting this cooler to be as nice as it was. It’s easy to get caught up in brand perception and often times very difficult to break away from what you think you know about a brand. I used the word “think” intentionally, because what I thought I knew about Ozark Trail was not correct. Ozark Trail is proving to be a really solid competitor for outdoor products.

I think that this 35 dollar tent could outlast the expensive ones. Mine is red and black and the rainfly covers everything except for a tiny place to get in. I had bought this tent thinking it was going to be dry, man was I wrong.

As with any free-standing tent, with this one you stake out the four corners, and then you feed the two main tent poles through the Wawona’s fabric sleeves, which go halfway down the tent’s body. The North Face’s color-coded poles make this process easy to navigate. Orienting the fly took us a minute on our first try. (We were stubborn and didn’t look at the instructions.)
