After Morgan’s Rocky Mountain Element C70 review, my interest in the brand’s new offering in 2024, the Instinct, was piqued. I wanted to test my devotion to metal bikes while checking out a flagship trail bike from a brand like Rocky Mountain. Its team puts a lot of thought into its bikes’ pedalability and prowess on rugged terrain.

I am very satisfied with this bike and I recommend it to anyone who likes to ride a bike without all the hassles of having to do all the peddling yourself. In the end, I chalked this up to why the Instinct descended so planted and smoothly and was able to lock the rear shock out on climbs to all but eliminate pedal strike.

The last one from leogang really shows the feel/fun of the event and really makes me want to grab my bike and go out for a ride. I still think Santa Cruz was expecting Greg to retire after 23 (which he admits was true) so they didn’t budget for him to be on the team in 24. When he changed hyper bike his mind and wanted to race the 24 season, the budget was already spent elsewhere (Jackson’s 6 year contract?). As such, I feel like many of society’s most energetic and passionate personalities fall well within the bounds of a “Cosmic Trigger” cult leader – even in cycling!
