Gear: The Ozark Trail Screenhouse

Dozens of two-foot sections of pipe spilled onto the floor with stickers labeling them ‘1B’, ‘4’, or ‘2B’. Childhood memories of failures with Tinker Toys came flooding back. But, with determined hope, I began to wade through the instructions. That’s what we get with foreign made products.

I have lost the instructions and the list of parts to the Screen House. I was wondering if anyone can email me the instructions and List of parts. I would appreciate any help I can get. Anyone have spare parts for sale? I need to replace the center hub (CTRH-02) since this broke while I was using it. Bring the whole thing down when the winds are +20 miles per hour.

Yes, I know it will, so what gives? A Pavlovian reaction to super-size doses of advertising? Greed, optimism, stinginess, and materialistic guilt thrashing together in a dance of futility that leads straight to the checkout counter? To make matters worse, sometimes I’m so ashamed of the purchase that I can’t even bring myself to return it.

The Ozark Trail Screen House is 13 feet long and nine feet wide, with a standing space that tops out at seven feet high. The tent fabric roof provides shade for 46 square feet of the room. The Screen House is spacious enough for six people, or more around a folding table in an uninterrupted 360-degree panoramic shelter. I purchased my tent a couple of years ago, but time passed and just got it out to put it up. Also, one of the parts broke before using it one time.

No information on where I can get replacement parts. I need one of part number GBLL-05 (three-way hub gable left) and one of part number GBLR-05 (three-way hub gable right). I have been trying to replace it ever since I lost it in a wind storm. I put it up in my yard for my now wife’s bridal shower.

An absolute waste of money and time, and cost plenty of aggravation. Find something simple to set up, reliable, durable and with product support. Great product, however, like everyone else, unable to locate replacement parts.

The product is garbage and the customer service is worse. I borrowed this screen tent and thought it was a pain to put up…the center hub broke forcing me to duck tape it to keep it together. The new types that go right up without connections are so much better. It was a nice size though and eventually got up with extra tape. We love the size of the tent and we used it for a week with no problems. The second time we set it up one of the poles snapped and now I can’t find where I can get replacement poles.

If anyone has a hub gable or #1 Roof pole, I would be interested in buying those parts. I loved the size of this screen house but after a few uses, the 4-way hub gable cracked and a couple of the curved roof poles bent a little. Had the screen house for 4 years. A gust of wind probably around 50 MPH took it down.

Absolutely no apology for the poor quality of the product. The plastic corners are not worth putting the room up. But ozark trail canopy I did find this to get parts from California. When I got the thing home and deboxed it, the reality began to set in.
