Slips are located in three separate areas; East Boat Launch (no pontoon boats), Mitten Bay (pontoons only) and Boat Rental. A rustic trail loop is located near the Spring Hill picnic area. Pets on a six-foot leash and running are permitted on the rustic trail. CHICKADEE TRAIL – 2 MILES

These closures are necessary to facilitate installation of ATDM and ITS equipment and will continue through September 27, 2024. Single-lane Brooklyn-bound south outer roadway will be closed from Saturday 5 am to Monday 5 am and Monday to Friday from 5 am to 7 pm and 7 pm to 5 am (24 hours). Single-lane Brooklyn-bound south inner roadway will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm.
One GRIT Freedom Chair is available for rent at the Kensington Metropark Nature Center, allowing users to explore the Kensington nature trails.
