Coleman Tents V S. Ozark Trail Tents REAL Pictures!

I don’t think this Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent will do very well against strong winds. The Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent also comes with a room divider, so you can split the tent into 2 rooms, and each “room” can fit 2 queen-sized camping mattresses. Because it’s ridiculously inexpensive, the quality, design and weather protection isn’t the best, though ozark trail canopy tent I think it’ll work decently in summer (without rain, of course). All these windows are pretty small, which limits ventilation on a hot day. And on top of that, all these windows need to be closed on a rainy day. However, my Ozark Trail Tent’s fabric started getting pretty soaked after just that 15 minutes of mostly light to moderate rain.

You have to add the fly as well, so it is best to have somebody to help you. This is why I have added it to my list of best instant camping tents. The 3 roof poles are made of fiberglass, which are a bit more flexible.

It rained for about an hour while I was using this Ozark Trail 10-Person Cabin Tent, with about 20 minutes of moderate rainfall and about 40 minutes of pretty light rain. Apart from the roof though, there’s not a lot of mesh from the 5 windows and the door, because they’re not very big. The door has 2 zippers for the bug net, and 2 for the door itself. The zipper quality is not the best, it’s a little bit noisy, and it always, always snags from the outside because of this green rain cover.

For cons, there’s only 1 door in the entire 10-person tent, there’s almost no ventilation at all when it’s raining, and it also leaks within just 15 minutes of light rain. The tent is with huge mesh ozark trail instant cabin windows around, plus all the ceiling is mesh (see the picture below), so ventilation is not an issue in this tent. But if it is raining you will have to keep panels on the doors and windows.

This tent is a little heavy because of the steel poles pre-attached to the tent, so I recommend having a partner to help pop up and lock in the poles. If you need more options please check my list with the best 12-person tents, and also check in the category Cabin Tents. The name Ozark Trail 12-Person 3-Room Instant Cabin Tent with Screen Room is descriptive enough and it describes the best features of this tent. So this is a pleasant tent, designed for warm weather and summer camping. This is how it should be used and in this case you should have a great experience with this tent. This is all steel construction, so the weight mentioned above should not be a surprise.

I can’t reach this either, but you should be fine if you’re a little taller. This Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent has only 2 pockets in the entire tent, and both measure about 13 inches in length and 6 inches in width, which is very tiny for such a huge tent. The length of the Ozark Trail tent is about 13 feet and 9 inches, while the width is about 9 feet and 11 inches, so slightly smaller than the marketed dimensions of 14 by 10 feet. Next, attach the 6 steel wall poles to the elbow connectors (the top of each pole) and to the pin at the other end (the base of each pole). I actually even packed up one of my Coleman tents while it was still wet, and when I took it out a few months later, there was no mold or anything on it.

Layout wise is virtually identical to the Core Instant Cabin we evaluated for our 10 person tent roundup, but delivers those same massive interior dimensions for about $100 less. So the walls are steep and straight and the peak height along the main axes is 78 inches (198 cm). ozark trail instant cabin This is also an instant setup tent with the frame preattached to the tent, the declared setup time is 2 minutes only, see the steps shown in the picture below. Unfortunately, the steel pole in the back of the tent did not lock into position, so this tent is defective.
