For an off road test I took the Hyper MTB Ebike to a local park wth 14 miles of easy – difficult trails. With the bike on the Medium setting, I was able to make it all the way through with the trail system with a little bit left in the tank. Overall I would hyper bicycles have to say I am not only happy with the performance but also happy to see the product description live up to it’s real world use. I have to say that I was far less skeptical of a pedal assist Ebike after breaking this out and taking it for a ride.
The instructions were not completely helpful for assembling the bike because they were basic and very general, but overall I found it easy to do and I had the entire thing setup in about an hour or so. The Hyper MTB Ebike is honestly one of the most reasonably priced Ebikes that I have come across while scouring the web. One of the biggest things that hyper bike we were looking for was a bike that was a fit physically and also had enough capability to haul additional weight for our gear when hunting. Admittedly, neither of us are in peak physical condition, sitting around the 220 LBS mark for personal weight, but the bike has a rider capacity of 275 LBS which is more than enough.
As far as cheap mountain bikes go, overall the Havoc Hyper FS mountain bike isn’t really all that bad. The standard mountain bike seat for the highest riders is far too narrow and it may lead to problems on rocky terrain with speed. There are major differences in seat shape and handlebars between the standard mounting bike and the hyper bicycles.
