Bottom of screen doesn’t even tough the ground. This tent is only $47 at Walmart, however that is not the point. The hubs on the tent and the construction of the design are worthless. A light misting rain and it’s all over.
I had to use every knot I’ve learned from rock climbing. There’s shade, and fewer bugs than outside the screenhouse. I do have some reservations left, though. I wonder what will happen when the wind comes. Will I come home and just find the screenhouse gone, or will I see it blowing around in the street, trailing pipe segments? What about the rain, or the potential for 120-degree heat?
Got this tent as a father’s day gift. Decided to use it to go camping with my fiance and we were going to set up before we went. The screen tent came with missing and broken parts. Their solution was for me to pay for replacements out of pocket. No apology, no offer for a resolution. The product is garbage and the customer service is worse.
I have large screen house and I love it. It gets used very hard every summer. It’s starting to wear out and I’m looking to replace but can’t find one anywhere. Can someone ozark trail canopy point me to the person please. I borrowed this screen tent and thought it was a pain to put up…the center hub broke forcing me to duck tape it to keep it together.
We are looking for these pieces if anyone wants to sell. We have a love-hate relationship with this screen tent. But, the slightest wind or rain and the whole thing comes down because of flimsy roof design. After multiple storms/fall downs, the screen portion has suffered some massive wounds. The rest of the process was funny too, with wimpy frizzy guylines, and inexplicable bits of plastic that are supposed to tighten them.
This was not a heavy rain by any means as no other shelters or tents collapsed. The weight of the water actually bent several poles on the roof and one leg. This probably could have been prevented by adding more yellow support poles to the roof. The tent fabric roof provides shade for 46 square feet of the room. The Screen House is spacious enough for six people, or more around a folding table in an uninterrupted 360-degree panoramic shelter.
I was wondering if anyone out there can e-mail me the manual. The screening and roof are all in excellent condition, along with all the poles, etc. With two more roof poles, I’m sure this could be prevented. We placed the screen house over a picnic table at the campsite and it did a fairly good job of keeping insects out while we were eating. Next day delivery isn’t available on certain items during sales or promotions.
Great product, however, like everyone else, unable to locate replacement parts. I need to replace the center hub (CTRH-02) since this broke while I was using it. This still has a lot of life left in it and I would love to be able to fix it. We have the majority of the parts, including the screen room still intact.
This is totaly wrong that a company doesn’t keep parts in stock. I was told to try and return it to the place I purchased it or wait the 4-6 weeks. Well I’m a camper and I intend to use this weekly. ozark trail canopy One mad idea often begets another, and that is how this $34.95 purchase came about. As I’ve mentioned elsewhere in the blog, I’m getting married in Joshua Tree on August 2nd, outdoors.
