Genesis 27 5 In. Serrano Ladies Mountain Bike, Blue

The performance model still features 21-inchers that contribute to a lower EPA-range estimate of 235 miles. All versions come with the same 77.4-kWh battery pack, but according to the EPA, the all-wheel-drive GV60 Advanced offers up to 248 miles of driving range while the Performance model carries an estimate of 235. A new-for-2024 option allows buyers to choose 19-inch wheels, which the EPA says increases the range of the GV60 Advanced to 264 miles. The entry-level Standard model with the rear-wheel-drive powertrain is the range leader though and is said to be good for up to 294 miles of driving per charge. Hooked up to a DC fast-charging station, the GV60’s battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent capacity in just 18 minutes, according to Genesis. On our 75-mph highway range test route, the GV60 Performance provided an observed driving range of 200 miles.

Out back, the four bar linkage looks the part, but the actual path of travel is an arc that wants to move the wheel forward as it goes upward. This results in poor handling, as the wheel cannot track over rough surfaces properly. The Genesis warranty coverage exceeds the typical term limits for the luxury segment. The GV60 genesis bike comes with powertrain coverage for up to 10 years or 100,000 miles and complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles. The Jaguar I-Pace offers similar bumper-to-bumper coverage and longer complimentary maintenance, but that car’s powertrain policy is nearly half the length provided by Genesis.

Sonder is a perennially popular brand with you lot so we thought we’d just slap up a quickie about its new Sedona gravel bike, Prima road bike and its first… People like to trash talk this inexpensive bike, but i have owned one for 2 years, and short of buying a more comfy seat, have had no problems with. I ride mostly dirt and gravel backroads and trails in oregon. I figure if it does break, i can shell out another hundred fifty for a new one rather than several hundred to repair a thousand dollar bike.

Over ten years the range expanded beyond commuter bikes to include road, mountain, cyclo-cross, gravel, kids and fat bikes. At Genesis we have a history of doing things our own way, whether that’s making bikes we want to ride, or heading in a direction that might seem a little crazy at the time. It’s who we are and we embrace that as we share our latest range.

I have written countless magazine and website features and route guides for the UK mountain bike press, most notably for the esteemed and highly regarded Singletrackworld. Although I am a Lancastrian, I freely admit that West Yorkshire is my favourite place to ride. Rarely a week goes by without me riding and exploring the South Pennines.

Genesis bikes became renowned for their use of steel tubing and ethos for function over form. The first Genesis bike was produced under the Ridgeback brand as the Day One model in 2001. Due to its popularity, Genesis became a label in its own right in 2006. If there are any issues with your bike, return it for a full refund or receive a replacement bike for free.

This product was added to our catalog on Wednesday 15 September, 2021. The Montane Icemen underlined the bikes capabilities as… It’s Singletrack’s long running, weekly roundup of all of genesis bicycles the new products that have been sent in to the magazine. Excellent beading and kept me (Amanda) dry after a two hour ride in heavy rain. Apologies if you still have to work next week.

Incorrectly installed tubes lasted only until they were inflated. Luckily, this happened at home for most owners. Trailside, it would be a bit cumbersome to fix a flat on the Genesis V2100, since it isn’t equipped with quick release axles at either end. So bring a box wrench with you wherever you go. Don’t count on an open end or adjustable wrench, as these nutted axles don’t have the best hardware either.
