Thankfully, Ozark Trail includes a removable hard liner in most of their soft-sided coolers. And the premium cooler backpack and cooler tote take this up a notch by having an EVA compression molded base. While the Ozark Trail Hard-Sided Coolers are mostly designed to compete with the premium coolers of ozark trail canopy the industry, their soft-sided coolers are more balanced. We have the hard coolers under the Ozark Trail high-performance line of coolers, then we have the 36-can Jumbo soft cooler, and finally the backpack cooler for the more mobile among us. Let’s start this review by looking at the price of these coolers and comparing them to some other soft-sided coolers that I have reviewed in the past. One thing we love about s are the accessories that can be added to the shelters.
For the back private room, you have an extra pole which you insert in the sleeve and with this, you can raise the back room from the ground. In such a configuration with the divider, you can enter the back private room from any of the front rooms. There is a large double size door with 2 zippers so you can open it from any of the two front rooms.
These include sidewalls, weight bags, and a host of other great add-ons that can really increase the use and versatility of the canopy tent. Perhaps our two favorites are camping tent additions that connect to the frame of the shelter and leverage the stability of the 10×10 frame to support a camping tent structure. The weight of this Ozark Trail is lighter than most of the same size alternative steel frame canopy tents, coming in right about 29 lbs. One could, in theory, purchase a new Ozark canopy every year (which they might need to!) and still come out ahead over the years vs. purchasing a more expensive alternative.
Also, it is marginally above average, where camp chairs are concerned as far as comfort goes. The seatback has some slightly padded sections that do at least a little something to enhance comfort, and the armrests are nominally padded too. We think the REI chair is most appropriate for toddlers and kids up to about 7 or 8 years old, though reviews reveal that some small adults have found this to be their favorite seat.
The frame is powder coated aluminum and steel with push button locking on the frame and height adjustments. The heavy 400D polyester top provides 99% ozark trail shower tent UV protection and is water and fire resistant. There are 4 walls included and one of the walls has a zipper in the center for easy access under the canopy.
