I needed a pick to help me route the zip ties after I drilled two holes on the plastic back plate. The zip ties replace the function of the damaged pegs which use to hold the blade in place. The bolt should be tight enough to hold the blade in place so the zip ties should receive little stress during operation. If you can mow your lawn on a single charge, a Sun Joe cordless is without a doubt a viable alternative. If you’re a contractor, a lot depends on how you feel about the environment and how much you’re prepared to invest in batteries. While on the subject, it’s worth checking the bag size.

The one supplied is rather small (only 9.26 gallon capacity) and had to be emptied more frequently than some other mowers we tested. And because it’s not a mulching mower, you have no option but to use the grass catcher.
