-wheelbase recumbent. Or instead of two-wheel drive just front-wheel drive moving bottom bracket. Just hacksaw the other bike in halves, weld the rear onto fork. Voila, you save thousands compare to commercial recumbents. My kids still have a couple years to go before they’ll fit the smallest offerings of ‘real’ fatbikes.

You’ll have to put in some overtime to pay for it, so don’t expect to see your kids ride.
