Used the heater about 10 times MAYBE in my garage on chilly evenings. Called and they said since I had no receipt and the manufacturing date on the plug said the unit was over 5 years in age they could do nothing to help me. After looking at all these reviews I wonder if most customers are treated the same. One more expense, but, they would have replaced 2 of the 4 bad units….

Several of the heaters that we’ve gotten our hands on have the option to crank the heat to 90 degrees or more, and the Lasko is no exception. However, we found its temperature settings to be especially innovative, as they go down to 39 degrees. While it may not be intuitive lasko space heater to desire conditions with that low of a level of warmth, sometimes the only reason you need a space heater is to keep pipes, liquids, or other belongings from freezing. If that’s the case, it would be a waste of energy to heat the area to higher temperatures.
