The Kick Stand for Hyper Mountain Bike is a useful piece of kit to have for any cyclist. In the summer months you will find that you are constantly going down hills. I had another of these hyper shockers, which also performed very well. Another great thing about this stand is that it is adjustable. There is a simple mechanism that allows the stand to be tilted in different directions so that you can choose how much support you feel you need to your legs. This is especially important when you are going down hill and you don’t want to be putting any pressure on your muscles. Having the ability to adjust your bike in this way is a big plus and one that more people are taking advantage of on a daily basis. Many shops are now offering these stands as part of a bundle of mountain bike accessories for those who want to make their bikes more comfortable.

Like rockshox they offer entry level garbage on up… Their air spring forks are comparable to RS models like the XC32s, Judy Golds and Recon models. I simply used that brand as an example of a better choice to buy than a bottom end RS as you’re not paying an artificial premium for the Rockshox labels.

It hyper mountain bikes great on street but also is a beast in the off-road trails. I have been putting it through the paces and I am a heavy rider. I have tested several other bikes and the Himiway is at the top and is my go to bike at the moment. The front suspension works pretty well in eating up and road chatter and even better in the trails with roots and whatnot.

So although it is intriguing that Walmart wants to sells a quality mountain bike, my question is will people actually buy such a buy from Walmart. I mean Walmart generally has the stigma of cheap, low quality goods for a certain demographic. Maybe sale of higher quality good through the e-commerce website has a different stigma/expectation.

One of the most affordable models from Tern, the P9 is a Class 3 speed pedelec capable of 28mph (45km/h) top speeds. It offers a unique blend of utility, efficiency, and sport handling. The frame comes in one size and handlebar telescopes up and down, but does not fold. Two color options, hundreds of dealers in North America, extensive high quality accessories.. Great side mounted kickstand, but you can upgrade to a center stand for added stability…… Our in-house wheel brand “Lún Wheels” has a wide range of road & gravel performance wheels.

The downside is that it has sloppy gearing that slips and is underpowered. On this bike, gears 1-14 are nearly useless, and gear 21 slips all the time (1,7,8 & 14 are also prone to slipping). If you’re mechanically inclined, you may be able to minimize slippage by adjusting the chain tension, but you won’t be able to do anything with the current gear ratio. I would have preferred a front disk split, but that would have increased the cost.
