But it does that one trick of assembling quickly very, very well. There are some cheap touches, especially in the construction coleman cabin tent, but this is a cheap tent. While this isn’t a tent you would want take out in inclement weather, it’s a perfect option for backyard camping or shorter camping trips in decent weather. When folded and stowed in its bag, the tent is fairly small, making it easy to store. Coleman advertises the setup as being a less than 60-second process. While it may take you more than a minute the first time, we found that setup time to be right on target.

The Skycoleman cabin tent won’t be everyone’s first pick though, which is why we’ve also listed the best models out there for every sort of camper in the outdoors from large family gatherings to solo backpackers. To sleep under the stars with your family without sacrificing comfort, head to Walmart to get the best-selling cabin tent shoppers will be using all summer. You could give this tent a knock for its weight, coming in at 18.2 lbs, and a ding for the bag size — packing this one back up did take a little extra smushing, but it wasn’t too bad. What we did like about this tent was the spacious footprint and the two large doors that allowed for a refreshing cross breeze. This tent has an integrated rain fly, and could have been stuffy without a lot of thoughtful attention to ventilation.

Note also that the tent is quite tall with its 6 ft 4 inches peak height.
