Ozark Trail Garden & Patio Awnings & Canopies for Sale

More expensive, but they also last longer while being more weather-tight. I can’t speak to its sturdiness in the rain because we haven’t used it in a rainy situation yet (I’m curious about that also and have read about people using Scotchguard or such on the roof). It is about as heavy as the old one but it is amazing to put up.

There are 4 walls included and one of the walls has a zipper in the center for easy access under the canopy. The canopy also has an awning, banner holder, stakes and guy ropes. The canopy folds down to 52.5″ in length and easily fits into the roller bag with all of the accessories.

The new Simple Push technology allows this canopy to be set up with ease in just 60 seconds. One person can use the Simple Push handle to extend the canopy so it is ready for use. Because of the straight walls, you get this huge interior space that feels massive compared to a Dome shaped tent that curves inwards towards the centre, losing precious head height. For this reason Cabin tents are top of the list for families, tall ceilings allow for lights, fans and lanterns to be hung without fear of tent poles bending. The only drawback is their vulnerability to strong wind as it will smack up against a straight wall quite heavily, unlike with a Dome tent it will glide over aerodynamically. Instant tents are tents that come pre-assembled, with a pre-built frame.

But they also reduce the amount of wind we deal with inside the awning area, and keep the sideways rain from finding its way in. I keep thinking about getting a third panel but have never actually been in a situation where it would have been necessary. @jmkay1 If you are looking for more protection than the 10×10, look at the 13x13s based on the 10×10 inner frame bits. They have 2 tier roofs to allow for ventilation like an attic vent, and offer a bit more coverage.

On our last ozark trail screen house, the 10×10 was directly up against our awning and on the other end, it was about 4 feet from the fire pit. I would not have wanted it to be 2 feet closer to the fire pit. On our second trip of this year, we didn’t even have room for a 10×10. For our other two trips this year, a 12×12 would have worked fine, but we never really know until we get to the site if it would work, so the 10×10 is the best option for us. Where are you camping that a 12×12, or 13×13 canopy won’t fit in that you would be willing to haul one to? I haven’t been everywhere though, maybe this is a regional thing…

The ozark trail chairs cover comes off and the whole top of the tent is mesh for excellent ventilation and sleeping under the stars. Used this for a week of camping with the family and we loved how easy it was. Was a little worried how my 8 yr old would handle the cup but she did great. With this model, you receive a free carry bag with wheels for easier transport, and 4 stakes and ropes to tie and secure it down. It can stand on its own, but we always recommend that you lock it down, so it has no chance of blowing away. The second purpose is to prevent it from blowing away.

I guess I’ll stick with what I’ve got for now, since it works and hasn’t really begun to show signs of failing yet. Whenever I set it up I wonder how long those plastic latches are going to hold. As we were leaving, I asked our neighbor “if my canopy blows away, would you please grab it before it ends up in the lake?” When we got back it was right where I left it no worse for wear. I bought one of these three or four years ago and have been pleased with it so far.

Stormed my second night ozark trail chairs and it was water tight to. For casual outings as well as possible commercial use or for tailgating, this is a fantastic and trusted choice. With bonus stakes, guylines, and a wheeled carry bag, you’re certainly getting value for your money.
