We leave the seatbelt in the red seatbelt holder/guide, and we have their seats on top of a seat protector or towel. But after reading the other reviews, I felt the need to drop a line to say we love this booster and haven’t regretted buying it, and also looking to buy another graco extend to fit one to have two in my husband’s vehicle. I’m already sad about the possibility this one may not be around when my youngest turns four, which means I’d have to find another one. At least in the case of this may not exist, we know for certain we will be another Graco product.
4-pack Seatbelt Shoulder Pads For the kid who complains about the seat belt rubbing against their shoulders. They come in gray or black and wrap around graco high back booster the seatbelt with a Velcro attachment. They’re a little short and can’t be adjusted for height or pulled out of the way for easier getting in and out.
It makes traveling easy for parents that are bringing a booster seat along with them. Kids find the booster seat comfortable on long road trips as well. Note that this booster seat is not FAA approved and should not be used on an aircraft. We use the Britax Skyline with both of our girls and like it very much.
As far as ages go, kids should be at least 3 years old for the highback and 4 years old for the backless mode. Kids who are tall for their age may outgrow this seat before they pass the weight limit. Kids felt there was plenty of padding in the seat bottom and that it supported their legs rather than letting them dangle uncomfortably. Wide arm rests and smooth seat belt guide helped them easily buckle themselves in.
The cup holder is kind of small, so it won’t support larger cups or bottles. The pull-out drawer is also pretty small, so it won’t hold graco extend to fit more than a very small snack or a small toy or sunglasses. The pull-out drawer is big enough to store small toys, sunglasses, etc.
