If you’re in the market for a new Keurig and plan on making a lot of lattes, you’ll want to get a Keurig from the K-Cafe line. These Keurigs offer the “shot” button and have a built-in milk frother. You’ll then prepare your milk the same way you would for an iced latte. Pour chilled milk into your milk frother up to the LATTE line and press the cold button before pressing start.
The bottom line is that this is an impressive single-serve brewer. The K-Café can brew a range of drinks, works with all K-Cups, and features an easy-to-use, effective milk frother. It has an impressive set of controls, like brew size and strength options, and useful keurig cappuccino maker features like descaling and low water alerts. Keurig K-Cafe is actually known for making great lattes and cappuccinos. It includes a milk frother cup for making these types of drinks. Plus, you still have the basic coffee to which we’ve all become accustomed.
Keurig states that the new brewer continues on the five-needle entry points into the pods — many older and/or smaller machines have just one, but the K-Supreme Plus SMART has five. The company calls it “multi-stream technology.” Five entry points into the pod allow for more saturated coffee grounds, rather than the lone stream tunneling through the grounds. Keurig also installed pressure controls in the new model, so the water can pass through grounds in varying forces for lighter or stronger extractions. The frother is easy to use and significantly elevates at-home craft coffees, although not to the degree that a steam wand would.

You can set up your customized brew and control the machine directly from the app. You no longer have digital access to ratings and reviews. Unfortunately for Keurig, the Rivo proved too challenging to maintain as you needed special Rivo pods.
