With a hart tool chest installed the HART 20V OMT is approximately 16″ long. The drill is slow during demanding tasks but still capable. The molded attachment point for the auxiliary handle is awkward and would be more ergonomic if it was longer and located above the chuck instead of below. The HART 20V hammer drill easily bored through 2×4 lumber with a 2″ forstner bit.

The driver features a 1/4″ hex chuck which does not require a tool to change bits. The tool has a metal chuck but is protected by a plastic outside which can help protect your work. The drill does not feature a locking chuck so it’s just as tight as your hand can get it. For a couple of weeks, we have been releasing and talking about some of the new Hart tools.
