Walmart Releases HART, a New Line of Tools Made for DIYers

The drawers open with a bit of a pull, but I am ok with that. I am reminded when I open a drawer that I am using a very well-designed storage unit. The self-closing is a nice feature because there never will be a slammed drawer. A side benefit is that whatever you place in the drawers will remain in place when you shut any drawer.

Also, like the bottom box of the same type, the steel is a little too thin. The case itself is made of durable plastic and offers 3 small compartments and one that takes up most of the case. This larger compartment comes with 8 rectangular cups or trays to hold different items. They sit flush to the lid, so if the case is turned upside down, everything stays put. I live on a farm, and I have a little cart I tow around with me. A stack with drawers would be perfect for me to keep the stack and be able to get screws, wirenuts, bolts, etc in and out quickly.

Press the space key then arrow keys to make a selection. In addition, it comes pre-packed with a 72-hour emergency kit as well as a Zeus Power Station to jumpstart your car or truck, to hopefully avoid roughing it for 72 hours in the first place. If there is any criticism to be made, it is that the clear plastic lid can crack under hard use or if dropped, and that could make the whole case useless. The deep bin organizer seems to be compatible with the STACK Modular Storage System, but we haven’t tested that.

The only real downside is that the organizer cups are very thin and can be fragile. One of the big projects we have planned for is updating our garage. It’s technically a two-car garage, but it’s actually the size of a three-car garage. It was built in the ’70s and the original paneling, doors, and even door opening mechanism are all still here. It’s like a blast from the past, especially when you walk from our modernized house interior to the garage. And the stains on the floor are…questionable…to say the least.

The weight of the tools could slow you down or cause an injury. This unit features deep-tread tires made from rubber for gripping the surface underneath. In addition, the handle can easily retract, which allows you to quickly access your tools after moving it. The durability of a tool chest is incredibly important, so users will appreciate the polypropylene resin construction. It is easy to clean, and you only need a damp cloth to give it a quick wipe. Overall, the unit was designed to function under tough conditions without sacrificing appearance.

Due to the wheels, I added an anti-slip mat underneath to assist it keeping it in place. I got five out of six of them for myself, and doubles of one of them. The large chest is the must-have piece, because it has wheels and a telescoping handle. Once you have it, you can add any other pieces you want.

Do I have them labeled and semi-freak-out if the house one gets used for a woodworking project in the garage? I would say Husky Connect is the best among the “lighter duty” systems. It is made by Keter and never stay long on HD shelves.

Durable and strong, some of these Hart tool boxes – such as the Hart stackable tool box set – can even be combined. They all provide a much better level of protection for tools inside than a tote, especially in keeping items inside dry. hart impact driver They excel as tool and small part organization solutions compared to totes. Several examples of the “Hart tool box on wheels” or pit box can be found in this category. I’m finding more and more Hart branded items along my tool bench.

If you want something a little more solidly built and mobile, DECKED is the better choice. That said, the plastic used is not of the highest quality and the units are prone to cracking. Other customers report problems with the handle falling off, which is a major flaw in and of itself.
