Suspension and brakes on the Walmart bike were absolutely worthless. That was 10 years ago though, but I can’t imagine they’re much better now. I’ve seen the four link hyper bike suspension but I bet the shock and fork are still garbage pogo machines. When I retire from the service, I will gladly put together some Walmart bikes part time.

I have a feeling that even though they are just using Walmart as a distribution channel , that people are going to have a tough time getting past the whole “Walmart bike” thing. Besides the big high end bike companies are going to make their money from Ebikes now. Once I put the joint down, I will without a doubt , make sure your bars are on straight and your brakes are right rear/left front. At 6’3″ – the bike was even adjusted to the comfortable riding position for me.
