It’s near the front wheel, close to where the steering column connects to the footpad. Flip the lever to the side to release the locking mechanism. Once you flip it, the scooter will almost automatically fold up into a shape that is easy to carry around. Place the scooter on the ground and step on it with one foot.

Our kid scooter testers loved this scooter for its bright colors and multi-colored LED wheel lights, but its performance wasn’t as impressive as its looks. All that said, our testers love riding the LaScoota’s kids scooter and we consider it a great bang for your buck! They also tend to prefer the different colors in the light-up wheels, versus the white lights in the Micro Maxi and Mini LED versions.
