My first impressions of the bike, other than that bright colour, are that it is pretty small for a large. I’m fairly well centred in the size range at 180cm ( cm) but I would have happily gone up a size so it’s definitely worth double checking the size before you buy – which is the standard advice decathlon bike as always. We may get paid by brands or deals, including promoted items. I would put some road tires on this one like what I have on my 26-inch MT bike . I think they would have to be 27.5 to call it that size of bike. It seemed an odd looking bike at first, that’s why I stopped and looked at it.

After 2-3 weeks of riding with the Rockrider ST520 V2 , my first impressions have me happy with the purchase, but there are a few caveats to the product which can be improved. Budget bikes don’t have to be basic – they can be fun and stylish too. However, you can also find well priced commuting bicycles in other places. For instance, we didn’t mention a folding bike on a budget but if you wanted to find one there’s many out on the market available at other retailers.
